Well, I've actually had a site online since about 1998 - originally helped out by a good 'online' friend Trogg, it was a very basic site - I knew no html or anything!

I purchased my domain Sim8ne.com in about 2000. It was built totally around a cat / kitten / theatre theme - and attracted an audience of about 3500 up until 2001 when my counter went mad - and I have no idea what the total was before I took the old site down at the beginning of 2003. Although I'd always had nice comments left on my site, it had suffered a bit with lack of attention, since from 2001 I've also built and maintained a site for my local Amateur Dramatics Group, PVADS. (http://www.pvads.net )

I don't think (sadly) that I have a screenprint of my old site (though at some point I may find it stored on a disk somewhere and put it up for posterity!)

Anyway, onwards and upwards as they say, the 'new' version of Sim8ne.com was put online in April 2003 and here's a couple of screenshots (they open in a new window).

It actually had a different layout for each page - why? Dunno really, I just had a splurge on making them and wanted to use them all at once! :-)

Version 2 was entitled - 'It's Not Easy Having Wings', online from the end of April 2003 - November 2003. It was a very popular design - I loved it and it looked like this;

Version 3 was entitled Vintage Beauty online from Dec 2003 to Jan 2005 (yes a long time!)
Again a popular design.




Version 4, still entitled Vintage Beauty with same layout as before. Online from Jan 2005 to end of March 2005

As for the future - who knows?!
